The compressed root image starts at block 350
and contains some basic libraries and utilities
for restoring from a backup or repairing Linux
partitions:
afio, cpio, tar, gzip, vi,
e2fsck, fsck, fdisk, debugfs, lde (cool! ), etc.

To use the resque_disk do
1. gunzip resque_disk-2.0.22.tar.gz
2. tar xf resque_disk-2.0.22.tar
3. cd resque
4. insert a formatted for 1440kB floppy into a floppy drive
5. dd if=resque_disk-2.0.22 of=/dev/fd0
6. reboot and enjoy.

1. upgraded e2fsck+fsck+debugfs+tune2fs to 1.06
2. included "lde" disk editor - a cool thing to poke
   around filesystem, can even restore erased files.
3. upgraded libc.so.5 to libc.so.5.4.7 - compiled
   so it takes less space.
4. included support for SCSI_SEAGATE into the kernel.
5. got rid of some modules which anyone can compile into
   the kernel whenever needed.
6. changed /etc/boot script so it does not spawn agetty
   on /dev/cua2 (which worked for me since I have VT220
   terminal hooked to that port, but it popped error
   messages for others). Also changed /etc/boot script to
   spawn gpm with default "Microsoft mouse".
